Kevin Kanner's Jam is a weekly jam session that blends an all-star house band sharing in the spirit of jazz. We feature Kevin Kanner's  core quartet with L.A. Jazz veterans like Josh Nelson and Matt Politano on piano, Hamilton Price and on bass. Top- class musicians to aspiring young up-and-coming jazz artists don the stage and make some incredible and interesting blends of jazz.

Kanner made this formula transform into a happening scene at the Mint in L.A. over the last few years and in just two months at Steamers, he's built it to the hippest Sunday in Fullerton's busy downtown SOCO (bar district). All ages are welcome, and food is served until 1am.

Despite his age, over the years Kevin has amassed a large summaryof jazz credits including records with: Paul Anka, Bill Holman (including grammy nominated 2006 recording, and grammy nominated 2007 recording), Bud Shank, Gilbert Castellanos, Melissa Morgan, Annie Sellick, and Gail Wynters.Performance and tour credits include: John Pizzarelli, Maureen McGovern,The Gilbert Castellanos Quintet,The Bill

the golden eagle dixieland jazz band 1p-4p

For all you Dixieland fans, Steamers brings one of the area’s finest Dixieland bands, the Golden Eagle Jazz Band, to you in Fullerton. For twenty-two years, the Golden Eagle Jazz Band served up some of the best traditional jazz and blues to be found anywhere at the recently closed Depot Bar and Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano, playing to standing room only crowds weekly.  These dedicated artists have built a huge following of devotees of Dixieland jazz, not only in Southern O.C., but internationally as well, having performed on cruises, special functions, and in well over a hundred festivals throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Scotland and Japan.  The band currently has eight recordings to its credit, three of which are on the prestigious Stomp Off Label, and it continues to gain news fans with each performance.
